Single, Yet I Love Valentine's Day

If you are single, you probably consider today Single Awareness Day, otherwise known as SAD. Today isn't sad! A few years ago, I would have been bummed. It was depressing to see others in love, getting roses, and chocolate. Over the years, that has changed.

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate the blessing of having people you love in your life. Your family, your friends, your roommates, etc. It isn't just about whether or not you are in a relationship.
TENDER MERCY: I have lots of people I love and lots of people who love me.

Today started off with a trip to the St. George temple. We left at 5 o'clock in the morning to get back by our 8:30 classes. It was quick, but good.

I sent my mom, dad, and sister homemade Valentine's Day cards. They sent me a package that hasn't gotten here yet! I made a cute little boxes of candy for my roommates. (See pictures to the right.)My roommates gave me presents. I mean how much better can it get?? Okay, okay. Yes, it could get better. But why dwell on it when I have so many blessings in my life?

1. Keep calm and eat a "CUPCAKE"
2. You might feel like you are in a "CRUNCH" to find the one.
3. Relax and break off a piece of this "KIT KAT" bar. I've got it covered.
4. You have someone that loves you with all their "HEART"
5. Plenty of "KISSES" to last all night
6. And a "RING" to top it off!
I actually do get to go out to dinner with a boy.... but he is just a friend.

Finishing off the night with the single ladies! We are going to eat treats, watch a movie, probably eat some more food, and paint our nails.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Just remember that Heavenly Father has a plan for you. Eventually, when the time is right, He will bring you your special someone!
